Direct-to-home platform offers Croatian content via SES Americom.s AMC-4 Satellite

The Irdeto Digital TV content security solution replaces the existing system of one of Irdeto.s competitors and will protect EURO-World Network.s Croatian video and music channels, which are delivered to approximately 1.6 million Croatians and expatriates living in North and South America. By securing the content with Irdeto, Home2US ensures revenue collection for its premium ethnic programming.

Home2US, founded by a team experienced at successfully offering pay TV services to DTH subscribers in Europe, provides a cost-effective solution to foreign broadcasters who want to reach a burgeoning subscriber base in America. The Home2US direct-to-home platform will offer Croatian public broadcasting channel, Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) and the music and entertainment channel, Croatian Music Channel (CMC). Content will be received at the SES Global teleport in Leuk, Switzerland and backhauled over new fiber to the SES Americom teleport in Woodbine, Maryland, where the content will be processed and prepared for delivery.
