HOME2US AND THE CALIFORNIA CHANNEL INK A DEAL

AMC-1 Cable Neighborhood Gains a New and Solid Broadcast Operator

Herndon, VA – September 1, 2009 – Home2US Communications, Inc.(www.home2us.com) , a Herndon, VA-based Direct-to-Home (DTH) Pay-TV company, today announced a new distribution deal with The California Channel (TCC), Sacramento, CA-based, an independent, non-profit public affairs cable network governed by California's cable television industry, and modeled after the national CSPAN service. TCC will start broadcasting its programming on AMC-1’s C-band payload beginning from September 2009.

“While we continue to invest in what has become the premier international DTH lineup across America, we are constantly looking for ways in which we can offer our industry know-how and experience to blue-chip C-band broadcast clients such as The California Channel that can derive a benefit from a relationship with Home2US” explained Emrah Ozkan, President and CEO of Home2US, which has been bringing the world’s best programming to ethnic U.S. audiences for nearly a decade. “In doing so, it only makes natural and perfect sense for us to offer AMC-1 and its C-band payload, both SCPC space segment and the premier Digital-C MCPS platform services, to international as well as domestic clients., all backed by SES-World Skies’ seal of quality. We are thrilled that TCC provided us with their vote of confidence in selecting Home2US as the provider of choice with this particular deal.”

“We are excited to forge this new relationship with HOME2US for distribution of our unique and important public affairs programming.  By facilitating our carriage on AMC-1 and backed with their integrity and high standards, HOME2US is allowing California’s government in action to be seen from Wall Street  to Sunset Boulevard and the Golden Gate Bridge,”  said John Hancock, President of The California Channel.

Launched in 1996 at 103º W.L., AMERICOM-1 (AMC-1) was SES- World Skies’ first A2100 hybrid C and Ku-band satellite. Already home for several nationally and regionally delivered C-band cable services, AMC-1, and AMC-4 at 101º W.L., form AMERICOM2CableTM, the nation’s newest premiere cable neighborhood. The close proximity of the two spacecraft permits both satellites to be received by a single ground antenna.
